RIVERVIEW, NB - Aditya Birla Minacs is cutting a third of it's workforce in Riverview.
About 200 employees at the call centre were notified on Friday that their jobs will be gone in April when one of the company's clients takes it's business elsewhere.
The centre's Executive Director, Andrew Clark says counselling services are in place for the soon-to-be displaced employees.
He says the company is trying to find new work for the employees, but in the meantime, the workers have been given notice.
The company has also laid off 94 workers at it's centre in Port Hawksbury, Nova Scotia.
