FREDERICTON, NB - Fredericton Police are asking for the public's help in their investigation of a sudden death in 2008.

After a year and a half the death is now being deemed suspicious.

43-year-old Patricia Ann Kucerovsky died in hospital August 19th, 2008.

Her obituary said the mother of two died following a lengthy illness.

A police investigation has been on-going since her death and now Fredericton police Sgt. Tim Durling says Kucerovsky did not commit suicide.

When asked if investigators are exploring the possibility of assisted suicide, Durling speaking on C-T-V said he didn't know.

"The investigation must continue, we're trying to uncover all possibilities to be able to provide an outcome for this and a proper conclusion," says Durling.

Durling says the coroner's office called police to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital  the day Kucerovsky died and the woman's family has been working with investigators.
