Concerns over bullying already being raised

Nelson Hum - News Staff Sep 02, 2010 07:30:46 AM
FREDERICTON, NB - The school year is about to begin and anti-bullying activist Rob Frenette says bullying concerns are already being raised by parents.

Frenette says he has already received a hundred emails from across the country, including those from parents saying their child is anxious to return to school.

"It's definitely more of an issue than it was last year.  I don't recall getting this many parents contacting me for advice," he says.

Frenette encourages parents, teachers, and students to address the issue openly and to make use of anti-bullying resources being offered by the Department of Education.
